Crabworms are odd creatures that only appeared in Ecco 2 Alpha. Their basic composition is that of multiple crab sprites strung together. They are similar to the free-roaming Crabsnake.

They are thought to have influenced the Vortex Snake, possibly by being a test object for their behaviour, using crabs as placeholder sprites.

Behaviour[]

Crabworms are sessile and attached to rock outcrops. They stretch their crabs outward and can hurt Ecco on contact, but do not actively chase him.
