The Library is the fourteenth level of Ecco the Dolphin in Genesis, or the twentieth level in Sega CD. A considerable amount of information on the Vortex is revealed here.

Area Information

To the right is the first row of Glyphs that can be sung to for information about Atlantis and The Vortex

To the far left is a statue and another stone with a golden symbol. Singing to the statue gives invulnerability, you must push the rock past three gaps to break the silver chains. Be careful of sea spiders that will jump you when trying to lift the or move the stone.

To the far left after the chains will lead to another Glyph that will say 'Access Granted' when sung to.

To the right is two swift moving bars, be careful not to get squashed above or below them and swim between them.

Past a clearing of jellyfish, you find a narrow passage up with more lion faced stones you need to damage/destroy to swim past or else get hurt.

Then is a narrow passage with sharp stones that are not damageable that you have to carefully weave between while avoiding jellyfish. The last one has a stream of painful bubbles.

You'll get a jump with air before the exit to Deep City.
